HABITAT SANCTUARY
Belmont, MA
What better place to get married than in a garden? Claire and Colin had a fantastic day with friends and family at Habitat in Belmont, MA, a reserve that is part of the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Claire’s friend Holly officiated the ceremony, donning a beautiful custom-designed stole. The wedding was small and intimate. Their attire was simple and elegant, Claire in a long, white gown with straps adorned with tiny jewels. Colin wore a simple gray vest and pants and sky blue tie. Claire’s bouquet (handmade by her grandmother) included a mix of delicate flowers and soft petals along with stems with more dotted textures. Claire and Colin share a love of games – and thoughtfully placed small games such as tabletop croquet and checkers at each table, along with beautiful, seasonal flowers, some of which were grown by Colin's mother. Friends enjoyed a fun and relaxed afternoon on the lawn after the rain cleared, playing giant Jenga with a set that Colin and his dad built and Kubb, a game that one of Claire's friends discovered on a trip to Sweden.
