Tom and Ashley tied the knot at First Mennonite Church on May 7, 2016. At their reception, which was hosted at Romer's Catering, wedding guests received the bride and groom and congratulated them on their recent exchange of vows. Everyone enjoyed a buffet dinner and chocolate and vanilla wedding cake. The couple created a unique guestbook with adorable paper hearts that each person signed a message on and slid into a glass frame. Ashley crafted homemade candles in half-size glass mason jars that served a dual purpose in the centerpieces and as favors for the guests to take home. The couple got the party started on the dance floor with their first dance to La Vie En Rose under elegant sparkly chandeliers. The night ended with a sparkler send-off under the stars. The day after the wedding, guests gathered at Ashley's parent’s home for a celebratory brunch, where Henry the Corgi made a special appearance.
