This labyrinth garden is situated in ___________ Quad at Simmons College, just steps away from the Back Bay Fens and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Curved bituminous walkways guide visitors from the quad paths into the distinct space within the quad. The project aimed to provide students with a contemplative space to pause and reflect as well as study outside. Granite block seating sourced from a local quarry surround the labyrinth, and the space is partially enclosed by a series of plants selected for their textural qualities. Cherry Trees dot the outside perimeter of the planting and provide seasonal interest in the spring.
