Gingerscapes
an edible landscape competition

Gingerscapes, sponsored by the Emerging Professionals of the Boston Society of Landscape Architects, became a fun annual tradition where design teams came together to create miniature edible landscapes to go along with a theme. The competition required participants to use only edible ingredients and fit their landscape within a modular square measuring two feet by two feet. Some of my favorite elements included imaginative rice krispie- based MBTA tunnels, CandyLand Gingerscape, and sailboats on the Charles River.
